2006 Montana Class B Semifinal Game: Huntley Project 34, Malta 35
This 2006 Montana Class B Semifinal game held in Worden on November 11, 2006 featured two of the most dominant teams in Class B and ended up being one of the greatest football games in Montana high school history. Both teams came into the game with identical 10-0 records with the top-ranked Devils hosting the third-ranked Mustangs. Sophomore Eric Buer opened up the scoring for Huntley Project on their first possession by scampering for 22 yards for a touchdown and would go on to score a three more in a back-and-forth game but Malta rallied behind quarterback Kazz Siewing who threw two long touchdown passes in the final 2:18 to Curtis Darrah as the Mustangs overcame a 14 point deficit to win 34-35 and advance to the state championship against Missoula Loyola.
